TRAVEL INFORMATION

The conference will be held at the Centro Convegni La Sapienza, via Salaria 113 (Map). This conference centre is located in the campus site of the Faculty of Communication Sciences and the Department of Informatics of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Please note that the conference centre is not in the main La Sapienza campus.

The conference centre is in Via Salaria 113, few hundred meters from the Roman Walls (North section), very near Piazza Fiume and Porta Pia.

Bus directions from Stazione Termini (main railway station in Rome). You can take buses no.  38, 360, 217, 86 (North direction), get off at Piazza Fiume, from where Via Salaria starts. The conference centre is about 300 meters from Piazza Fiume, opposite the Villa Albani park. Website of bus line company ATAC in Rome.

Metro and Walking directions. Stazione Termini is about 1500 metres from the conference centre (about 15 minutes on foot?). See walking route in this map. If you travel by Metro Linea A, you can also stop at Piazza Repubblica (See route in this map). From Termini or from Piazza Repubblica, you’ll have to head towards Piazza Fiume (with tall building of the Rinascente department store).  If you travel by Metro Linea B, you can stop at Castro Pretorio. See route in this map). From here, you’ll have to head towards, and pass through, the landmarks of Piazza Porta Pia (north gate of Roman walls) and Piazza Fiume. Via Salaria starts from Piazza Fiume.
