Nautilus Piccy's from previous years...

Training:

Training is on Saturdays from 6pm until 8pm. We meet at the top of the Students Union at around 5:20pm to travel to our pool which is currently at Saltash, Cornwall. You don't need your passports, just a swimming cossie!!

Social:

Every Monday night there's a gathering in the Semour Arms at around 8:30pm for a swift half (or eight) before heading off into the nocturnal pleasures that Plymouth has to offer. If you don't want to boogie the night away then it's still an opportunity to grab-a-committee-member and tell 'em what you think. Or you can just be social and have a beer with the rest of us.

Events:

When there's no training or the pool's not available then there is usually bowling, paintballing, other activity of your choice. These are generally posted on the notice board, which if you haven't found it yet is round by the loos. Most delightful! If there's anything that you'd like to organise or suggest by way of an activity that the club could have a go at then put your suggestions to the committee or just suggest it to everyone at the socials. Access permitting I'll try to put event notices up here...

Competitions:

Yes, they do exist and we generally go to a few each year. Our biggest limitation is getting a team together. Check out the BOA site for the latest details.

We're the only University Club to attend Nautilus, it's your opportunity to play against the best teams in the country. Ok, perhaps 'play' is putting it a little strong, 'be in the water with...' is more accurate. For all that it's a great two days out, you'll meet loads of ex-Plymouth Uni players and you'll see what the game is like at the highest levels, mostly. So book Nautilus into your busy social diaries now - there isn't long to go!!!
